So today was my first day of working in retail.. OVERWHELMING. I know there is still a lot to learn, and i'm scared because i have like no idea what i'm doing haha. Seriously, I did a lot of listening, and I hope that i remember it all.
Yea, I hope it will be ok.
Also, in my english class we talked about my short story... They ripped it to shreds. I was like.. WTF? My story rocks, i felt like they were way over analyzing. Kinda how i feel about ad crequites too. Like, why are you an expert? we are all on the same level...plus you're not even an english major... LAME

ReplyDeleteand critiques are the worst thing ever. the problem is, sometimes you need to hear your "baby is ugly" (we say this in photo all the time) but all you have to do is take what they say and make the next project/image/ad better. taking criticism about projects/images/etc is important for learning. people are going to think they are experts on your images and want to tell you how it should look because that is what they want to see. just remember it is your work, your piece and if you like it, that is all that matters is if YOU like/love your work. don't forget that!
